TN book for books using Pink Fresh Studio & Papier Projekt stamps

I love to read, and I do it quite allot. Do i remember all the books I've read. No way. So why not have a proper book-book? Here I used a insert and two stamp sets that are just perfect!

For the letters I used the Papier Projekt "Rilke" stampset
and the book stamps are from Pink Fresh Studio "Bibliophile"

Now I may remember more of the books I'll read, or at least know where to look for them...

Teen Boy mini album using Crate Paper "Cool Kid"

I hardly ever scrapbook about others but when even I saw the "cool kid" line by Crate Paper I knew I wanted to make an album about my brother for Christmas. I really wanted to give him this, an album that captures him as a 13 year old and hopefully its something that he can look back on. How he looked this year and what he liked.

In the book I have written subjects on 3x4 card and than he has written in the answers. I have tried to add as much as I can of the teen-boy-stuff  and what I know he likes.

I have tried to add in some random photos but also making some pages about events, like his vacation to Kreta. A few pages about school and his favorite topics.

I'm so happy whit how this album turned out, the mix of pockets and open pages. That I have his voice in here is by far the best thing!

December Daily day 12 & 13- when the printer doesn't print

What do you do when the printer doesn't print? My printer went on a strike this Sunday and doesn't seem to be willing to get back to work. So what I thought I would share my tips for when you can't or won't print your photos right away.

1. Journal. Each day I have written down a specific story and I'm so happy I decided to do that. Now I have the rutin and later I can just go back when I scrapbook that day.

2. Generic photos. I like to print out some generic photos in November to have for my DD. These can be photos from around your house, ornaments, nature and family. Photos that you can tell a story about for those empty days or when you simply don't have a photo.

3. Post-it it. I put my post-it on every page, sometime several on one page. Not only will these tell you that you have something planed but what and how it's planed.

Unboxing: Siraps Boxen from Siraps I Paris- "Winter Wishes"

What is better than a package of scrappy goodness on a rainy Thursday? Not much! Today I picked up my second Sirapsbox  from Sirap I Paris. I was really happy with what I found inside!

The content of the box has a clear theme and is well put together. Of curse I wish there would be more but considering the price of scrappy things in Sweden I think they have done a great job! The cute packaging really adds value as you can use it again and the paperclips are just adorable!

The plus side of this box is that its from Sweden. It comes every other month and at a good price. I do wish that the content would be more clear if not showing the whole kit at least show parts of it before. This is one of the reasons why i waited so long to subscribe, I just didn't know what I would get...

If you found that is just not enough they offer an add-on kit for 170kr. Haven't been tempted yet but maybe I'll try that for next box?

In short, if you live in Sweden and want to get a box with some scrappy stuff every other month than check out Sirap I Paris.

How to Stickles- 5 ways to use stickles

Ever wonder what to do with those little glitter-glue bottles? Well here are 5 ways to stickles!

 Add some accents.
Bring out the design by adding some stickles, it will be like your own glitter paper!
 Alter thickers.
how many sets of thickers do we have? Add some stickles on top and BOOM! So pretty.

On top of wood veneer
Why not add some sparkle on top of the wood embellishments?

Make your own design.
Use the fine tip of the bottle to write or draw your own design.
With a stencil.
A little goes a long way, and that is so true! Add some glitter by using the stickles with a stencil!

And that was 5 easy ways to stickles! I hope this inspired you to bring on the bling!

Happy Mail from Scrapbook.com

What better way to cheer up a dark and cold Monday than a package of happy mail?!

I placed this order at Scrapbook.com last Thursday and got it yesterday! What?! That is what I call super shipping!

I finally got the stamp and die tab set from Clearly Kelly!!
Than some how I also ended up with 2 ink pads and 2 stickles...
Umbrella Ruby Red
Umbrella White
Stickles Silver
Stickles Black Diamond
I just couldn't wait to play with this set and in-between reading I die-cuted and stamped these tabes.
I used just white cardstock and my new "Ruby Red" ink and I really love how it turned out!! The ink is really pretty and the dies are perfect! The only this is that the stamps are a bit trick to line up...

1st Advent

So not a video today but some Christmas feeling!

What a week! and not in a good way, more like no voice to speak and blow my nose every five minutes... But luckily  the worst is over, I think I gave the bug to dad... Next week we'll finish our current course and let´s say I have some catching up to do after last week.

But today is the First Advent and in our house that is when we put out all the pretty lights and hang the Christmas curtains. No other decoration intill the 23 of December.

Even my studio got some Christmas cheer.
This is what my brother and I did after breakfast, rather charming isn't he?
Found my favorit Christmas candle last year and bought a couple... okej a few... will look for more.
This is the best part of december, the lights. When it's dark at 3 these lights are really magical!
