Welcome to our website !

Today I have a post of how I quickly *not so much* documented a trip from yesterday to Äskhults By in south-west Sweden and brunch at Skårs Gård. In my process video I have some "vlog" klipps if only to show you a bit of our beautiful country on our national day.

In our little town we have one park with a lake, in this lake hundreds of swans came each winter and every winter I drive past it and think, I should take my camera with me... Well this Tuesday I actually did, so when I had pick up my brother we walked around the lake and looked at these amazing birds.

I have a thing for birds, I really don't like them, except for swans, owls and flamingos...
But liking them or not, that are stunning
A day at the beach, or an ice floe
I have never seen any black swans, never hard that they would come here but there they were...
I think they are amazing and stunning and beautiful and amazing.

Now I really need some of Maggie Holmes "Bloom" stuff, that black swan paper especially!

We have a really good time walking even if it snowed/rained, and I'm now so inspired by these birds

Let me tell you about my weekend. Friday and 12 o'clock a bus drove from Gothenburg to Värmland with 30 young leaders. Young leader that all had won a place at  Leader Camp 2014 in Värmland Sweden. All of this are leaders for young kids in different sports, from horses to shooting.
Four and half hours later 60 young leader meet for the first time on the mansion Dömle in Värmland. The only thing we had in common was that we love working with sports and kids. We were all given a name badge with our name, sport and district.

So from Friday to Sunday we had so much fun with games, competitions and lectures. It really was inspiring to here different top trainers talk about what they thought was most important. And they all said that attitude and respect for yourself and others is the highest priority if you want to succeed in anything.

Together we discussed allot about the difference between our sports and what we want to change. We all had different opinions but non tried to change the others. We just wanted to hear what the other had to say. I have never been in such a large group where everyone and different opinions and everybody accepted each-other.

Here is the reasons why we keep being leaders

You know the saying "get back up on the horse" well I have! After almost 8 month I did my "debut" and it went really well! It was my first time riding Tjarna, she is a wagon horse from Poland and she is really fun to ride. I like this sensitive horses when you have to challenge yourself.

Sense I´m not a trained instructor our boss has put together a "boot-camp" for me and my co-worker. It´s so much fun, that is the reason that I got Tjarna. I just love that our boss spends so much time teaching us becoming better. And a major bonus is that we get to ride the riding-schools horses. Not only do you become better riders but this helps us understand the horses better and makes it easier for us to help our students.

So if you ride on a riding-school please try that horse that you think is not your "type", this horse mite surprise you and you may learn something new.

Good Monday to you all I hope your weekend have been good, I have been sitting down from Friday to, well now. And yes it´s my back that I´m trying to fix. I was at the physiotherapist today and he said that I can start to work out in a couple of weeks! So when I got back home today the sun was out and the birds was singing so I took Britta with me out.

So today is for all of you how has missed miss Britta :)
My special Britta, Such fun she is.
 How fabulous is this lady?!
"I believe I can fly"! That´s right Britta never starts hoping ;)
The snowdrops has started to come out and both I and Britta are so happy to see them.
Have a great week and I´ll be back later this week :)

Happy Wednesday everyone, well not for me, I´m sick so instead of being a riding- instructor am a coach-sitter today. But that means that you get a new post today!

Today am showing you a layout of our calf Moa 21 from the day she was born.

The papers are from Maja Design and this glass bubbles I just glued over prima papers with 2 and a 1. The flowers are misted with pink mists.
So with all the green paper I wanted some pop of pink that picks up her sweet nose so flowers and allot of pearls. I also made a border with 4 washi-tapes. Just to add some layers.
I wanted some black so I embossed this stamp in a fine embossing powder from Magnolia.
And here we have the cutest little calf. She almost cuter now when she has her full winter fur and looks like a tiny bear.
So I hope you all like this layout, I really like that is "open" in the middle and the embossed flower-stamp...

In Gothenburg now dogs from around the world comes to show off their good looks and unique beauty. Today was my turn to go with mom and Kerstin, dad went yesterday. Anybody how has been at dog shows know there is allot of waiting around but with a camera the wait is no longer a problem. There is so many different dogs and owner and everyone of them has a story to tell.
PBGV can be so cute when they tilt their head and blink.

This two beauty's are from Lady beautys kennel and made my heart melt.

She looks like she is from a Disney movie with her dancing dog

At the end of the day, nothing is better then getting our but rubbed.
The beagle looks a bit jealous.

It´s my 19th year in this country called Sweden. This country has it all, the rain, the sun and the nature. It´s really amazing year round and November is not exemption. Even though I some times get sick of the rain or fear I´m going to freeze to an ice-cube, I love living here.

And right now it looks something like this...

My mom and I goes on this walks in our village with our cameras, she really is a geek ;)
If your inspiration isn´t flowing, this walks are perfect to get it going.

It´s all ready mid November, where does the time goes?! I think that this is a tricky time now, is it fall, is is winter? Here in Sweden there is snow in the north but here in the south its still fall. So with this Swedish weather in mind here is today's card:
On this card I have use two old magnolia stamps as embellishments. The leaf and mushrooms, the leaf is stamped on some bronzed paper and the mushrooms are stamped on watercolor paper and then painted.   The background is basic grey and burlap.
The flowers are in fall colors and the big rose is embossed with a gold powder. The small brown pearls is all over the card, on the flowers, the image and on the leaf.
This girl is colored with distress ink and the snow is chunky embossing powder. This image really is Swedish November in a nutshell.
I hope you like it
