Welcome to our website !
I love treasure hunting. Going to different second hand shops and flea markets to see if we can find some treasures. Now a treasure for me may be rubbish for you, but that is the charm with it!

This page is from one of those hunting day me, my sister, brother and cousin had a few month ago. We went to a huge, HUGE, flea market hosted by the local soccer club. We had a really fun day and I did find some treasures! You can read and see more photos in this blogpost

Hello!
More treasure hunting this weekend. Today my sister, brother and my cousin Cajsa headed to a flea market hosted by the soccer team. I had never been before but heard such good things and it really was good! The plan was covered with tents, one for each category.

I got some really good stuff, like a wire basket, an archive-box,
vintage books and some sewing things.

And yes, that is a glass dish... filled with embroidererthread...
We then stopped at a second hand shop and I found muffins tray that I have been wanting for a long time and I was to happy to find a small one!
So tonight I just had to sit down and play! First was my long awaited tray:
I love how it turned out, I put the things I use all the time and the some cute ephemera that I usually store in boxes. I think I will use more of this cuteness now when I see it.
Next on my list was making some tiny tassels with the embroidery thread. I love doing this and they are so fun to use on layouts and projects.
 Such fun colors!
One of the things I was so exited about was a bag with old seam-binding and I just couldn't wait to try to spray with my Heidi Shines. They turned out so pretty. As a write this they still haven't dried but they are really shimmery.
Tried the Heidi Swapp thing with masking of to get a striped look and LOVE IT!! So cute. Here I used; Raspberry, Sweet Mint, Sweet Mint masked, Pink, Gold and Navy and Teal.

I just a such a great time and so fun to come home and just play messy hands and all!

Now it is late and time for bed!

I do love to go treasure hunting and I haven't done that this summer so this Saturday I just decided to head to one om my favorite "treasure-caves".
There always allot of pepole but sometimes it's just too much. Luckily I did find some treasures that I have been looking for. A milk-cow, I want one in black & white but this one is really cute. Cake stands are always on my list and this one is in glass and a tiny one. Top make my day I found 5 Agatha Christie pockets in both English and Swedish. I call that a pretty good treasure-hunting-day!
I have a Travelers notebook insert for my treasures, I'm that nerdy...
Nothing fancy I just think it will be fun to look back on when and were I got the stuff and why i got them. I put down the details but also why and what I liked the best from that day.
This day's score was definitely the books. All of these for a total of 78kr
(not 48kr as on the page I clearly can not count in the evening...)
I usually spend under 100kr (about 10 Euro) I collect coffee cups and cake-stands and almost always but something of glass.

Yesterday my sister, brother and I took a trip after tennis. There is this house, not far from us, Gärdhem. It's a huge house and filled with treasures. It's open Saturdays and always lots of peoples but also, lots os bargains.  But we started at my favorit shop in town,
Emaus

Total spending: 90kr
(included was 2 Donald Duck pockets, a gift for poor little brother for taging along)
I see this mint bike basket and had to have it!
Bike basket: 30kr
(I washed it and striped the plastic ribbons of it, look so pretty now!)
i have decided not to buy a tea/coffee service for when moving out, but collect old odd ones. At Emaus I found these pretty 4 for 10kr each.
 4 cups and saucers: 40kr
 Gärdhem
We got there just an hour before closing but that didn't stop us from finding some good deals!
Total spending: 110kr

I found a few of these embroidery sets, they are really tiny, comes with everything you need (apart from scissor) I got a cow and a house
2 embroidery sets: 20kr
I love the sewing counter and found 10 yarns and 2 hoops! I have searched for this wood kind but so hard to find! I love the color of the yarns, so summery.
2 embroidery hoops: 30kr
10 embroidery yarns: 50kr
 And a new typewriter...
I already have 2, one that doesn't work and one the is rather faint. This little guy however is really tiny and has a very nice ribbon. I'm so happy to have found a smaller one and the price was perfect! It's easy to handle, even on my desk, the other one is way to heavy for me and takes up so much space!
1 typewriter: 30kr
Coming home, W inspects the treasures and even she is happy about the typewriter!
Last night I made my little cow, not very good and not following instructions, but I think she is rather cute. However I think for my house, I might split the yarn to 3, here I used the full, 6. (With fram it's 3"x4").

We had a great time and I love these outings, searching after pretty stuff others don't want. For just 200kr I think I got some really fun things that I know I will use!

In my town we have a number of secondhand stores, some have good stuff and some just have... well crap. But my favorit, Emmaus, has a great store, well organised and lots of kitchen things (YAY!). So when ever I'm near and have some time, I pop in. So that is what I did this week while waiting for my brother to get out of school. I got three thing that I'm so happy about!
No judgement, but I have started to buy these white horses and I love them.
So I'm secretly 80...
Something more useful is this light-blue tin/flowerpot. It is one big with three smaller tins whit in. I think this will be perfect to have on my desk for roller-stamps and washi.
And then I found this! It's a pretty glass cake-stand. I love glass, and cake. If there is something that I actually want to collect, it's cake-stands! and teapots...
I love "finding"  things that others no longer love, and what I pay for them is 1, very cheap and 2, it goes to charity. These this coat in total; 100 SEK, a real bargain!
