Welcome to our website !

This year I have signed up for Ali Edwards One Little Word class. I have a word that I like and I think is what I need right now. I'm so happy with this word and ready to work with it. Brave for me is not only jumping out of planes or riding wild horses (I think I'd rather do the first one...) but I want to be more brave in my everyday. I want to be brave a Tuesday afternoon, picking a new restaurant or painting something I can't (that I have told myself I can't paint)

Here is  look at the first pages I have done with the prompts from Ali:

A few month ago I made this 12x12 layout, inspired by a previous painting I had made and the paper piecing/ embroidery technique of Elsie. I picked the 6x6 paper pad from the "C'est la Vie" by Pink Paislee, love that line!  I love the colors and patterns of that line and they make beautiful houses!

After cuting out the shapes I stitched with matching colors and added a title; Hem Ljuva Hem, or as you might know it; Home Sweet Home.

I framed it with this black frame from Prima Marketing and it now hangs next to my desk so I can see it everyday! That colors are just so sweet and the stitching adds just a bit of texture.

When I paint my "really" pieces I tend to get bord waiting for the paint to dry. So I got a pad and in that one I only paint for fun, testing colors and patterns. Now I have started to bring them into my scrapbooking and I love it! Here is one I made this week from a watercolor I just doodled:

"Listen to me" when I tell myself that I'm good enough. We should all do a page like this once in a while. Now I keep telling myself that my illustration work is good and I need to trust that. Also I had fixed my hair (it's a big deal!) I only used my new pretty papers and stuff here. I love how it looks!

Have you scrapbooked your school years? I didn't scrapbook while in school but I thought I would start on an album. I don't mind much about how many pages or  how they look, just that I make them. If I can tell one story or scrapbook two photos than there will be on more page.

I have made a few and here is one that I filmed a while ago. I started with some ink blending through a stencil and then used some papers and embellishments from Pink Fresh Studio.

What is more freeing for a 13 year old boy than to go on summer break? I think the title for this page,  Liberty is rather perfect.

On this page I used to Oh-so-pretty "C'est La Vie" from Pink Paislee. I had an idea of something festive, like a banner, for celebrating this day.

I really like this page with all of it's texture and colors, it will be hard to deiced if I'll keep it or put it into my brothers album (that does not yet exists but on day it will...)

The long awaited order from Scrobby.nl is in the house!! Now this time I just wanted to order "fun" things (my last order was more must-have supplies) but the order was hold up and the delivery date was pushed up time and time again. From middle of September to beginning of November! That was not sitting well with me so I asked if I could change out the items the was hold up to some other things. No problem and not even a week later it was here!!

I have said before how much I like their service and I'll say it again they are so good to deal with and they help with everything! Now they also do this, sends a photo while packing your order!! That is such a fun idea and I really like!

So I got quite allot from the Gather, Cool Kid and Take Me Away and then the 6x6 pad & puffy sticker from Cute Girl. I can't wait to start to play!! Some of the things are for specific projects and some are for, well they where just too cute not to get...

My best medicine for morning pain is hands down my lovely little rascal to dog. When some days starts of a bit harden usual she jumps up and lays down next to my legs. If it is her pressens, warmth or some magical healing power i don't know. All I know is she that she makes life a little bit easier.

I have always been a number person, that was intill I got sick and my head took a time out. One of the first things I noticed when I got fibro was that I had a really hard time in math class. I'm saying I was a amazing but I was good so when I couldn't figur it out I got really scared. Now I know why and it still a pain but I know it's not because I'm stupid, just sick. ... So I wanted to tell that story, that I have always preferred numbers and what happened when I got sick. Also now when I'm going back to school how having fibro will make it all harder but that I'm willing to do work hard!
Enough chatting, here is the process and photos:

I love how this page come out, all the numbers and the gold! I know that we all have allot of number and it can be channeling to use them, here I let the numbers inspire me to tell a story about myself. Made be you can tell a story about being a number person (if you are on), a number person you know, your favorit number, a big birthday or maybe you hate math? Let the numbers inspire you!

I scrapbook allot about myself, and Wiola. Sense I got sick I really feel that scrapbooking about the ups and downs helps. I document when it feels like shit bu also when it feels better. I'm making these pages so later on if I'll get worse I can see what made me better or jut that it goes up and down.
This page is about how working out (the right way) really has helped. That I'm stronger in every way and that I'm so happy about that!

I wanted to make a page that seemed happy, like how i was feeling. The background is just left over paint and some inks. Then I wanted to layer a bunch of doilies under the photo. Definitely gong to do that again!

The papers and embellishments are Pink Paislee "C'est La Vie"
and the title is Crate Paper and Amy Tangerin.
