Welcome to our website !
Hello and happy Tuesday!

I have a new project life process video to show you but it´s only "my" week and not the puppies. My camera shot of during the puppy part BUT I do have photos!

Week 35 look like this.
I have started to see a pattern in ow I do my week, 3 4x6 and one of them is of the sky/ nature. 2 3x4 and a mix of color and black and white.  Now the card I have is (4x6) wood grain from yours truly, the first 3x4 is from My Mind´s Eye- Blush and I made it a while back. It has a poem made out of words from an old book that I cut out and put into a "poem". The seconed is from Becky Higgins DIY kit.
I really like this page, the colors and the studio Calico wood hearts! The hearts and arrows and the letter stickers from Panduro is my go to stuff. I have made several weeks with just that.

For the puppy page I tried something different... More color and just more stuff. The title card I made on water color paper with Gelatos and gold spray. I then stamped the week, added washi-tape and journaled. The gold studio Calico heart just had to finish it. I used the purple letter stickers on this page with arrow and cold flowers.

In the end I like this page but not crazy for it. I think it´s the second 3x4 card with the cold resin flowers and the washi-tape. It just doesn´t look good. I´m seriously thinking about changing out that card...
This was my week 35 and I have already started on week 36! Now I love Mondays and Tusedays because that is my project life days! Now have a great week and I hope to see you all of Friday for part 4 of project Wilna!
Love Julia
                                                        *Process video!*

Hello happy Tuesday everybody! I hope you have had a great weekend and feel ready to take on this week.
I thought, sens it´s Tuesday, I´d sheer my project life week 34 with you.

So here is my process for right now. One layout for MY week and one layout for the puppies. I want to have them in my album (I´m making a mini PL album for my mom) but I don´t want to have them in MY week. I want their pages so all of the focus is on them.
So here is my week 34. As you can see I mix black & white with color, corner with rounded edges and "pretty" photos with Iphone photos. I´m just happy I´m getting it in the album.

I keeped it rather clean, just washi-tape, letter sticker and resins/ wood veneers.
The PL cards I used are from DIY value Kit and the 4x6 are from my own Blush mini kit
Same thought with the puppies week 5 page. Here are all the cards from the DIY value kit and then some letter stickers and Studio Calico wood veneers.

This photos I desaturated quite allot. This room is pine and that gets really orange on camera (depending on what time it is) so to not get this page be all orange that is what i did.

I hope you liked this spread and have a great week and see you next Tuesday for week 35!

Love Julia

                                                     *Process video*

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to Project Wilna part 2!
I´m so glad you stopped bye and well, let´s get started!

So we start with checking out Wilna´s page:

This layout is build up in three parts: Photo, embellishment & journaling.
The colors are one of my favorite compo; grey and yellow. The embellishment is ribbon and scrap-pieces with brads/ buttons in changing colors, black to coral to yellow.  Here is her process video check it out to see our different processes.

What I will take with me is the layout and the thought with it. I will challenge my self with the colors. I have a hard time making red work so that is the color I picked to go with black and grey.

Here is me take in the layout:

Black & White with Red.  Black and white is not hard to work with, but red is. So bringing out the red lipstick in the photo with red dymo, red embellishments and red splatter.
The background is from Basic Grey and I love it! I have been "saving" it but it´s perfect for this page, with all the flying  shippes. The squares are from My Mind´s Eye: Ruby and goes from black to red to white. Over the journaling I dropped some red mist I mixed ages ago.
Wilna had matted her photo on a vellum pecie with gold dots. Now, I don´t have any vellum let alone any with dots so I made my own. The paper is what you have when you bake so it´s hard for anything to stick to the surfaces. But Ranger gold paint sure does stick, so I made dots with the old dried dabber.
I love how the "vellum" turned out but I couldn´t get it to stick...(yes I know how blond that sounds...) so I finally went with staples and cut out the center to stick down the photo.
I just love how this turned out with the colors and the layout. I would never have done a layout like this if I hadn´t started this project. My favorite part is the gold and the ribbon. I haven´t used ribbon in ages, but maybe I give it a try, this way.

I´m so happy over this page and I hope you give it a try.
Thank you for stopping bye and I hope to see you next Friday for part 3 or if you love project life; on Tuesday for week 34 process video :)

Have a great weekend
Love Julia

Hello!

I´m back with a new layout using my august-scrap-kit! This layout was inspired by a spread in a magazine, the pastel colors with the black

The kit was put together with a vintage and shabby chic feel in mind but picking put some colors and going with a white cardstock can change everything!

              Here is the video!

So light yellow, blue and pink with black accents. I used a stamp from the optimist stamp collection from Prima to stamp a border around the edge. The paper-layers are put around the photo in like a T-shape to help draw the eye.
I used the same blue glitter-letters from the previous layout together with my dymo and black letter. The resins are from a mod pogde  resin mold, painted with white paint and distress ink.
I just couldn´t stay away from the black lace washi-tape but it just works with everything!

I hope you like the layout and don´t forget to check out the video: HERE

Is there any better way to start of the weekend then with Magnolia, lace and pink? I though not ;)

Hello  all of my crafty friends, I´m back with a new card! And just to change it up, lets start with the card ;)

I´m just going to start with saying that I love this shabby chic/ vintage card.
The paper I have made myself with a prima lace stamp and some glimmer mists.
The butterfly resin is made in the mod-podge mold then sprayed with pink perfect pearl and some white paint.  The book-page rose is made out of twirled book-pages and a pink pearl in the center.
This pocket is made from some craft wrapping paper and the tag is just a piece of scrappapper.
All of the flowers (not the book.page one) is from Magnolia and I have just sprayed and painted over them to give them the shabby-chic treatment.
The clock is cut out from a Prima paper and covered in crackle-accent.
And this lovely Tilda is colored with distress ink and she got some stickels on the halo.

This card is in the challenges over at:
