Welcome to our website !
Do you read allot of scrapbook blogs? I don´t, I have a few favorites (and lots of you-tube ones) this I check a few times a week and always feel inspired! On of those blogs are Maggie Holmes blog and the other day Kim posted this layout:
I love this page, the design, the colors and the "messy-ness" of it. I just had to scrapbook after seeing this one and jumped in to my scrap-tin.

I picked my scraps and placed them in some sort of color order, cold to warm but without thinking to much of it. Blue to yellow to pink, but I wanted to yellow to be a bit more. The title and flowers are Maggie Holmes "Open Book" and work so well whit the other yellows on the page.

But my favorite part of this is the stitching, I love the subtle effect it gives and the it sort of pushes all of the patterns a step back. It took time, I won´t lie, but it was so worth it!

After I had stopped filming I felt that the background needed something more. (this is the danger whit leaving your layouts on your desk, they will never be "just right") Anyway, I decided to add some watercolor-look by the "packaging-technique" and distress ink in "pumic stone" and some teal spray.
In the end I love how it turned out and will definitely to this technique again so thank you Kim!!

Hello
I have the last layout in the fine& dandy challenge to show you, where I use the 6x6 paper pad from Dear Lizzy fine & dandy collection

In this one I went back to the 12x12 and started with a white cardstock. I wanted to have a panel with different pattern papers from red to pink to white and then sewn down. And if I say so, it turned out pretty close to what my plan was.
Whit all of this light colors and patterns I wanted to bring in black to humph it up. I love using black as an accent color, here I have the tiny word strips from Maggie Holmes and from her also a black & white bow.
The title is part Maggie Holmes too, I think you is the queen of ephemera packs!. The vellum word "adorable" is from her Confetti line and "Wiola" is thinkers Gilded

The heart and the gold dots are from Studio Calico, the word stickers from Maggie Holmes and the label is from Teresa Collins

Here I wanted to play with the layers under the photo so instead of just patterned paper I also had some pink tissue and that fun star vellum from Maggie Holmes.
I hope that you have liked this little series and that i will see you all soon

Hello!

For this week of Project Life I really wanted to try to get a calm and soft page.

I printed my photos from the "Collect" app, giving the photos a white frame and journaling. Just this made the page allot more calmness. Adding the colors from the Teresa Collins- Life Emporium just underlined that softness without it getting too girly. The colors in the papers went to well with the colors in the photo and together it´s very harmonious.
Now let´s just take a moment to appreciate this Thickers- Sentiment
So cute she is, miss Wiola. The 4*6 paper with the white flowers are one of my faverots from the collection and I just left it as is. I really like how it looks, letting to just be a 4*6 with a pretty pattern.
The one thing that I´m not overly found of is this card but I still let it be... Well maybe I´ll go in and change it later X)

Hello
I have a new process video to sheer with you and sense I don´t have "project" for now I thought that I would try to combine Project Life and Scrapbooking. You know that I try to find new things for each week of Project Life so now what ever I do then I´ll try to make a layout with the same products. This week I used the 6x6 pad from Teresa Collins "Life Emporium" and the 2 sticker sheets.

So when I ordered this pad I just thought how pretty it was but then I always have a hard time making a 12x12 layout out if 6x6 papers. How do you do it with out it looking like you "only" had 6x6 papers? Well I think for me it came down to two things: 1 start of on a white cardstock and 2, layers. YouTube is an amazing thing and you can find so much inspiration there, I love watching Ashley Laura she has the hole layering thing down!

So I started with a white background and distress inks in "tattered rose" and "pumice stone" this colors goes great with the "life emporium" line.
I then started to layer the different papers and stickers. The gold doily, black letters, sequins and wood veneers are the only things not from the line.
I used with nail polish instead of enamel dots or ink, just love the effect and so perfect with the sequins.
I hope you liked this layout and process video even though it came up a bit late. On Tuesday the next week of Project Life will be up and a product

Hello and happy Tuesday!

For this week of project life I wanted to try something different. Last week I used the Maggie Holmes mini kit; Flea market. I decided to go with a 6x6 pad from Teresa Collins; Life Emporium. I love the colors and the patterns are too pretty! This pad don´t only have 6x6 designs but some with 6x4 and 3x4 (and some other cut-outs elements) I also used the two sticker sheets that is in the collection.

Sens I only do one page per week I don´t have much room for filler cards so that means I have to be more creative! Here I have a title card, the "V38" are gold glitter letters from "once upon a time" from DCWV. In the right corner I cut out some elements and stuck them down with a stapler. on the bottom right corner I just made a simple collage, now after I´m not to crazy about it but yeah.
For one of the 3x4 cards I cut out a design from the pad and the other I cut out a 3x4 from the cork paper, added a sticker and a grid paper.
"Start each day with a grateful heart" well how about a gold heart? Or a gold bloop... Yeah not so good.
Just love how well this colors goes together, I would never thought of this combo but that is why it´s so fun!

Have a great week 40 and I hope to see you next week for week 39!
