I know Easter is coming late this year but I have already seen the Easter bunny! Or was it Brittas...? How ever the Easter bunny is, has left some candy to celebrate Easter and that my blog is 1 years old!

The candy is both from my own stash and from Magnolia in Borås

 This stuff are my favorite so I have made some flowers and pebbels to you and there is 10 vintage pearl buttons.

 I just love this Tilda stamp holding a bird so I just have to have it in this candy together with a sweet-heart.

 More goodies from Magnolia! Some Knick Knackers, some huge white flowers and 5 hatpins.

 And what is Easter if not feathers? and a super cute yellow butterfly.

 I love yellowed book-pages so you´ll get some too and this amazing mercury Easter eggs to hang in your birch branches. 2 are mat and 2 are more shiny and I just have to say that I want to keep them!!!

 Some shabby chic trim couldn´t hurt

Hello  all of my crafty friends, I´m back with a new card! And just to change it up, lets start with the card ;)

I´m just going to start with saying that I love this shabby chic/ vintage card.
The paper I have made myself with a prima lace stamp and some glimmer mists.

 The butterfly resin is made in the mod-podge mold then sprayed with pink perfect pearl and some white paint.  The book-page rose is made out of twirled book-pages and a pink pearl in the center.

 This pocket is made from some craft wrapping paper and the tag is just a piece of scrappapper.

 All of the flowers (not the book.page one) is from Magnolia and I have just sprayed and painted over them to give them the shabby-chic treatment.

 The clock is cut out from a Prima paper and covered in crackle-accent.

 And this lovely Tilda is colored with distress ink and she got some stickels on the halo.

We all love stamps, but for someone that is just started out stamping it can be a bit confusing. So today I will get it all straight  with the pros and cons with the different stamps.

There is 3 types: Wood- mounted, cling-mount and clear-stamp. They all have different qualitys and price points.

 The first type of stamps is the wood mounted, it´s a ready-to-go where you only ink it up and stamp away. It´s mounted on a wooden block and in between there is a foam like material the gives the stamp the right "spring" . This is the highest priced type of stamps, but on the other hand it ready. The only down side is the this stamps take up a allot of space.

 When stamping with this type of stamp you´ll have to make sure that you have equal amount of pressure. Other wise the image will not be as sharp and some areas will look a bit... not good. (The hoofs and his tail)

 Over to stamp type no 2, the cling mounted. This stamp you either buy mounted or un-mounted. If you buy it un-mounted you need a cling-mount, I uselessly go for the EZ-Mount witch is really easy to use: Mounting . When the stamp is ready all you need is a acrylic block. I have 4 sizes, I recommend that you at lest have 3.

 I always make sure to save the paper on the back, this way it stamp is clean and stick on the acrylic block.

 This stamps don´t take up much room, I have mine in a folder: Stamping Organization . I found that this stamps give sharp an clean images 9 out of 10 times and the coast is lower then the wood-mounted.

 And so we have come to the clear-stamp. The clear stamps are the cheapest of the three and you can get a set of 10 clear-stamps to the same coast of one wood-mounted stamp. But this is not the only benefit with clear-stamps, they take up minimal space, see exactly where you stamp and they are super easy to clean. You do need a acrylic block just like to the cling-mounted ones. And with this stamps if you don´t get it perfect you can go over it again, sens you see everything trough the stamp.

 The down side I have found is the lines not always get as sharp as I would have wanted, I think that is that the clear stamp has no spring. But if this is a big problem for you then try to lay you paper over a mouse-pad.

I hope this as helped you in the jungle that is scrapbooking. And I can finish of by saying that stamping is so much fun and the more you learn the more fun it gets.

God day to you all, I hope you have had a nice and quite day. I have my week has been a bit hectic so I really needed today to be a "sitting at the desk" type of day. But honestly I haven´t done as much as I had hoped. I how ever made this card:
really simple and so not my style, but I like it.

Papers are from Primas "All About Me"- 6*6 paper-pad and the stamp is Penny Black "Heart to Heart" from 2004. Colored with distress ink and just added a lace washi-tape and that´s all.

I think it´s good to try out new things and new styles but we couldn´t forget our old things, like this stamp.

You know the saying "get back up on the horse" well I have! After almost 8 month I did my "debut" and it went really well! It was my first time riding Tjarna, she is a wagon horse from Poland and she is really fun to ride. I like this sensitive horses when you have to challenge yourself.

Sense I´m not a trained instructor our boss has put together a "boot-camp" for me and my co-worker. It´s so much fun, that is the reason that I got Tjarna. I just love that our boss spends so much time teaching us becoming better. And a major bonus is that we get to ride the riding-schools horses. Not only do you become better riders but this helps us understand the horses better and makes it easier for us to help our students.

So if you ride on a riding-school please try that horse that you think is not your "type", this horse mite surprise you and you may learn something new.

Hello all my crafty people! Yes it´s Tuesday and I have a new card to show you.

I made this card in just one sitting! I wanted to make a sweet and cute shabby chic card that just is Spring!

This Magnolia stamp is spring and is so fun to color, with distress ink ;).

Now I´m going to pack to head to Bollebygd. Today I´m going to ride for the first time in like forever... Okej not forever but it has been a long time and now I´m actually nervous! I shouldn´t be, I should realize that I have been out of the game for month and take it easy on my self... Wish me luck ;)

Good Monday to you all I hope your weekend have been good, I have been sitting down from Friday to, well now. And yes it´s my back that I´m trying to fix. I was at the physiotherapist today and he said that I can start to work out in a couple of weeks! So when I got back home today the sun was out and the birds was singing so I took Britta with me out.  

So today is for all of you how has missed miss Britta :)

 My special Britta, Such fun she is.  

 How fabulous is this lady?!

 "I believe I can fly"! That´s right Britta never starts hoping ;)

 The snowdrops has started to come out and both I and Britta are so happy to see them.
